Trees seen from the back of our garden: #5from7photo

This year, like last year, I am taking regular photos of some trees across a field that are visible from our garden. This week I have taken a new set 11 days after the previous set and have been amazed at how much they have grown into leaf during these few days. I also went for a walk which enabled me to take them from the opposite view – more of this below. First the 2 images of one of the trees:

This image was taken on 5th May (I have only just processed this) and it shows little sign of leaves breaking out from their bud
This one was taken on the 16th, just 11 days later. As you can see, there is a large amount of growth in the leaves and also the hedges. In addition, the crop in the field is taller.

Just a couple of days later on a fine evening (the 19th) we went for a walk along a country lane which takes us to the opposite side of the trees. This is what it looks like:

This was taken with my compact camera holding it high above my head to get above the tall hedge. My bungalow is somewhere over there but is hidden by the hedge – only the roofs of the taller houses are showing.
This view is showing a group of 3 trees taken from my garden…
… and this is what it looks like from the opposite side.

I shall have to walk over there more often…
