I have just finished catching up on the processing of the UV fluorescence photos that I have taken this month. This post shows 2 examples of Eryngium ‘Blue Star’ which is a type of ‘thistle’ with blue colouration – these come from my wife’s small garden.
For both sets I am showing a comparison ‘slider’ showing the daylight flash and UV fluorescence together then a composite picture showing on the one image the 2 versions of the photos.

This is one plant where I find the daylight version is better than the UV fluorescence!
