This was taken early this morning when I went outside to open the turkey shed. Self-heal is a wild flower that grows in our small meadow/orchard. It is quite prolific. The grass was laden with dew so, as I didn’t want to get wet by lying down, I had to crouch down to take the photo. With the sun shining from behind into the camera’s screen, taking the photo was a bit hit and miss. However, I am pleased with the result – you can even see a drop of dew on the tip of the grass on the left.
I have edited the photo a little by cropping a little and by toning down the green – my camera seems to to show greens too bright as you can see in the original:
