Little Planets stone circle garden feature

This week I took some Little Planet views of a garden feature which consists of a paved stone circle with some potted plants and a tall grass.

This is the first version taken earlyish in the morning with the camera positioned so that the sun is behind the plants. I show both conventional little planets and inverted versions:

This didn’t turn out too bad, but the camera could have done with being lower – this was the lowest the tripod could go.

And the inverted version:

Not too bad although the balance between to arrangement of pots could be better.

This pair was shot on the following day in the afternoon, so the direction of view is different. I used a small tripod which was almost overloaded by the weight. However, it did get lower:

This is more like it – I am quite pleased with the results.

And the inverted version:

As an inverted, this doesn’t work quite so well, the tall grass looks quite diminished.
