On Thursday we visited the RHS garden at Hyde Hall in Essex. We try to visit at least once a year when we are down that way visiting family. Below I show a selection of photos taken with my compact camera:

I just love the tones of these blue-silver thistles – I took several photos of these as there were a few different varieties around
