In August I had a family holiday at Orchid Meadows, a glamping site on the Bryneirian (near Tregaron) smallholding. We have an interest in staying at this place as we used to live on the smallholding for about 8 years in the early 2000s. It has had a couple of other owners before the current owners bought it including last who died without a will and no contact details for relatives – it took the solicitors a couple of years to sort out the estate during which time the place was left alone to run wild.
The current owners have done a good job in clearing a lot of the overgrowth but there is still much to do. There were very pleased when I gave them the planting plan for the orchard – they were able to put variety names to many of the trees.
This was our third visit and for this I took photos with producing a virtual tour in mind. Below you can see the finished version (which may be subject to a few further tweaks…):
