Rugeley Power station is undergoing demolition with the chimney due for demoltion on the 24th of this month. I went to the area to scope out possible locations for filming this for the TTTV project I am working for as a volunteer. Whilst I was there I wanted to get photos for before/after comparisions with an old photograph from the Canal and River Trust archive. On the previous post I showed online comparisions with a slider but I also wanted to see what I could do to blend the photos for a single image that could be printed. So here is some of the work:





I may go back and tweek the image around the sky – it is not quite right to my eyes but it does show the old and the new.
