July Visit to Shugborough Hall NT

Yesterday we made another visit to the National Trust property Shugborough Hall. As is the case with the Covid-19 restrictions, we had to book our visit in advance. The weather wasn’t good to start with – that fine but penetrating drizzle – but it did ease up towards the end of the visit. Here are some of the photos from that visit:

When we were walking along one of the paths under some trees my wife spotted a movement on the path – it was a tiny frog – no more than 2cm long, if that. These photos were taken with my compact camera on the closest ‘macro’ setting possible but even then the frog was only a small part of the image:
