Colour and interest in the winter garden

There are still views of interest in the winter garden:

Winter garden viewThis view shows the gateway to the chicken runs, with the block ‘barn’ on the right, a milk churn, eucalyptus tree and even a couple of red roses. Obviously much of the garden is dormant and quite dull but, in looking around, I still find views that interest me.

Another image is this view showing a display of potted plants. Some are hardy, some are dormant but, combined with the colour of the pots we have a bright display, especially in the sunlight.

Pots on showBut not all in the garden is well:

fallen dovecotThis is our dovecot that got blown down during a stormy night. Not an image of particular photographic merit, but as all these photographs have been taken for our own interest and records, it records an event that happened – and that I still have to fix!

The full set of this months photographs can be seen in the Garden Gallery.
