A brilliant idea for me to try…

My niece has some madcap ideas at times but this one I quite liked. She bought old Box Brownie camera (1957 vintage) and took a photo through its viewfinder with an iphone:

As it happened we visited her parents yesterday afternoon and she was there, with the camera. So, I had a go with it using my compact camera to take the photos. I managed two photographs; the first I title ‘An Edwardian lady, with a Edwardian, flowery iphone’:

The second I titled ‘An Edwardian Garden’s14_0546p1:

Not bad for a first attempt. On returning home I checked out an old camera I was given a few years ago – it was an Agfa copy of the Box Brownie. I am going to try and refine the technique…
