Farm scene through a viewfinder attempt 2

I had another go at taking a farm field scene through the viewfinder of an old camera – this is not as simple as it looks:

portrait mode field sceneThis time round, to try and get a larger image in the camera (so as to get a larger final image) I used a macro lens on my DSLR. These two images are the best of many attempts and although they have an old look, they are still not quite what I am after.

No improvement over using the compact camera. This needs more work!
