Here are a couple of photos of our garden:
This is a view from just outside our back door: this was taken using a fish-eye lens (technical details below). The tree in the centre is an old plum tree that has seen better days but still produces plenty of fruit.
This one is from the eastern side of the main flower garden next to the vegetable plot:
I do like these views with blue sky and white clouds – more interesting than a plain blue sky.
Both of these were stitched from two fish-eye views, mostly overlapping. The stitching software removes the distortion; the first one covers an angle of view of 163 degrees, the second 173 degrees. All the images were created from 3-exposure sets processed through HDR software – this means 6 individual photos were used for each final image.
