Strawberry plants

Still catching up on the photos I took earlier in the summer, I have just finished some of strawberry plants:

strawberry plant in polytunnelThese we taken late May and early July and are intended for stock libraries or as record shots. The first image shows how we plant strawberry plants at the edge of the polytunnel making use of what otherwise would be dead space.

This second photo is similar but shows the plants next to peppers in the polytunnel:

strawberry plant in polytunnelThis year we planted fresh runners outside (effectively moving our strawberry patch). We plant the runners through landscape fabric to help suppress weeds and keep the crop clean. Here are two views of one of the beds:
