A panoramic year in one image

As reported in an earlier post, I took panoramic images of a field adjacent to our smallholding at regular intervals over the course of a year. Here, I have merged 6 of them into one image:

merged panorama 1 year

This contains images from November, January, April, early July, early August and mid-August after the harvest.

The result isn’t perfect, but I have learned a lot from the exercise – mainly about being absolutely consistent on the set-up from month to month. Even minor differences are noticeable.

I am not repeating this exercise as we are planning to move so I would not be able to complete it. However, once moved I intend to do something similar.
