Wood Sprite – a cloth ‘doll’ made by a local artist

One of our near neighbours makes some incredible fabric ‘dolls’ that are very different to anything else you are likely to see – here is a ‘”Wood Sprite”:

wood sprit full length -1She wanted some photos taken of her work so, as have done this before, I agreed to do this for her current selection of dolls. This one comes with the crescent shaped piece of wood. The first set had the legs either side of the wood but I didn’t like how it looked, so I tried a few other poses:

These dolls are different from her other work in that they have wooden arms and legs.

I also tried some ‘portrait’ views:
