Little planet inverted

I had been thinking about some of my attempts at ‘Little Planet’ panoramas trying to think how I could improve them. Here is an example of one:

This is OK-ish but has 2 problems:

  • The ground in the middle is boring
  • The top of the tree branches get lost in the processing

I had a thought about  inverting the panorama, not by turning it upside down but turning it inside out. This is the result:

For this panorama, I think the process gives a much better result. I shall continue testing…
