Adding colour effects to a photo – 2nd post

I have continued to experiment with colour variations, including vintage colour effects, on a single photo. It is interesting in that what worked in the previous image didn’t necessarily work on a different photo. Here are the results using an image taken at the Shugborough National Trust Property:

The starting image of a boathouse
Sepia toned
Vintage colour
A stronger vintage colour
A ‘copper-wash’ effect
A second image as a starting point – the river Sow
Another vintage colour effect

Not all of these work, and not all of them are to everyone’s taste but unless you try these techniques out and experiment, no progress would be made.
