A walk in the countryside near Yarnfield

Last week we went for a walk in the countryside near the village of Yarnfield – this is only a few miles from where we live. It was a glorious day with the autumn sunshine making the copper hues of the the trees really glow. Here are a few photos from the day:

Glorious copper hues from this tree
A panorama showing the gentle Staffordshire landscape
Two trees with eye-popping colours in a gentle accessible landscape

All these were taken with a compact camera. The panorama was stitched from 3 photographs.
