Garden Views – #5from7photo

I think it is desirable to take photos of what is going on around you – even if these are what are often called, disparagingly, record shots. Aren’t most photos record shots in some manner? My wife is the gardener in our family and she has been working clearing the garden in the fine weather we have recently had. So I have been photographing both the progress in the garden and how it looks in different weather conditions:

A view of the garden taken earlier in the month taken on a fine day with fluffy white clouds
A similar view taken yesterday which was a misty, frosty morning
A different view of the garden on the same fine day earlier in the month
A similar view also taken yesterday

These views, for us, show what has been done – we keep records (in albums of photos) going back nearly 30 years. Finally:

Another view taken earlier in the month – this time a close up of a crocus plant.

Some of these photos (of which those above are a small selection) will be printed and put in an album. The rest go in digital albums so we can look back on what we have done, and see the progress made. Photography with a purpose!
