Birds in the garden: #5from7photo
I prefer to photograph wildlife from a closer perspective enabling the background to be seen – for me this adds context to a photo. You see so many photos taken with a long telephoto lens which blurs the background and loses context – they could have been taken anywhere.
Last year I built a DIY motion detection camera setup; this week I started using it again. I have had some success along with some failures – here are 5 of them taken from a corner of our garden that looks across a farmland:
