Rugeley Power Station demolition: before and after comparison

I have been working on the ‘comparison slider’ for the demolition of the cooling towers at the old Rugeley power station. This has been in my ‘pending’ tray as we have been waiting for authorisation to use a 1969 image (this I will show in a later post).

Getting the alignment of the images has been a bit of a problem but I have now got a reasonable pair of images:
