Transition Time-Lapse of a tree from our garden – October update. #vtourthrutime #transitiontimelapse

I have updated this ‘Transition Time Lapse’ video with the addition of the last 3 months still images. This video shows a tree visible from the corner of our garden across a farmer’s field. These additions show the wheat crop ripening, then after it has been harvested.

Note that the registration between frames is not perfect – this is a living structure that changes shape with the weather, the seasons, wind, weight of the leaves. Also, different lighting can make it look as though the tree has moved; the way shadows are cast by the sunlight, the direction of the sun – all sorts of changes in the conditions affects the way the tree looks.

A tree ‘transition time-lapse’ starting from January to October 2021. This will be occasionally updated.

The other change to the video is cropping it to ‘HDTV’ aspect ratio; this means that the width has been increased to the full width of the video format, causing the height to change as well – there is less clearance at the top and bottom of the tree
