Late Autumn on the Trent and Mersey Canal

The day after our visit to Shugborough as described in my previous post, we had a walk along our local stretch of the Trent and Mersey Canal. This was to provide a few photographs for an article I am writing. Again, we were fortunate with the weather with the sun illuminating the autumn colour of the leaves. Below I show a few of the photos I took:

A view of the Trent and Mersey Canal near a small industrial park
I couldn’t resist this little home-from-home
Another stretch of the canal showing the late autumn colour

As before, these were all taken hand held using my compact camera
