Here, Paul will discuss and show some of his photography.
Cannock Chase in the late autumn mist
A few days ago we had another autumn walk through parts of Cannock Chase even though the weather was quite dull and a little misty. For this trip we took a few side paths away from the main foot/cycle paths. I didn’t take my bigger camera but relied instead on my small compact camera. Here are a few of the photos I took including a couple of panoramas:
This is a view on a footpath that was accessed via a gate to the east. Not far from the main path was this old fallen tree – it was the mass of exposed roots that caught my attentionThis panoramic view was seen following a different path, this time climbing up to a ridge to the west of the main pathAdjacent to the car park was this view – you didn’t have to go far to enjoy the sceneryTaken from the footpath leading down to the car park was this view – you can just see the road at the bottom of the view
