A visit to the Hafod Estate in Wales

One of the places we visited during our recent holiday in Wales was the Hafod Estate which is now managed by the National Trust. We last visited this in 2007 and a couple of photos from that time stuck in my mind so I was keen to see if I could find the same locations and, by pure chance, we did find them! Below is a selection of photos, both colour and infra-red monochrome. I have also managed a few of comparison views although, due to using different cameras and lenses, alignment is far from perfect:

Below I show a footbridge across the river with a comparison from the autumn of 2007 to now. The alignment is far from perfect as I could not determine the original viewpoint and many trees have grown since, but this gives some idea of how the view has changed:
