Whitfield Valley Nature Reserve
This is a lovely nature reserve in the middle of urban Stoke-on-Trent. We made our first visit there last month and were pleasantly surprised at the extent of the reserve and the proximity to housing – in fact there were several entrances from the surrounding housing estates. Below is a selection of the photos that I took on the day:

This reserve was a pleasant surprise – we intend to make further visits.
