Another attempt at the houseplant UV fluorescence scene

After seeing the problems with the earlier attempt at this as shown in the previous post I had another go at this and managed to get a better end result. This is what I managed to do:

What doesn’t show here is the large amounts of dust and dirt fluorescing – it took ages to remove this in Photoshop! The UV fluorescence view was built up by ‘painting with light’, using a UV torch, a segment of the scene one at a time. This produced 24 images that had to be superimposed in Photoshop – this screenshot shows this work:

I like to try different methods of blending the UV fluorescence and daylight colour images together to get a more striking result – here are some of them:
