Cannock Chase: Larches in the Sunlight

On our walk last week in Cannock Chase, walking further along the path the sun came out and brilliantly lit the autumn hues of the larches before they shed all their needles. The trees just glowed with golden tones. Here are a selection of my photos showing these beautiful colours:

Larches in the sun glowing golden hues
Larches on the side of Harts Hill with the bracken bathed in sunlight from the side
A wider view of the larches and bracken on Harts Hill
Backlit larches at the top of Harts Hill

I like Cannock Chase and, at the right time of the year with good lighting, it is just stunning. You don’t have to go far in this country to see gorgeous countryside.
