U.V Fluorescence Rocks (3):

A small geode in daylight flash and UV lighting

This third post looking at UV fluorescence in rocks and stone uses a small geode that I have had some time. It was sold as a ‘trinket’ so I have no idea what mineral it is. However it does look good! The comparison below shows daylight on the left and UV fluorescence on the right:

As before, this does produce some interesting colours when the two images are blended. Here are 4 different blend methods:

What I find interesting is the way the detail differs depending on the blend method.
