Whitfield Valley Reserve Spring and Autumn

This is a comparison between 2 similar views at the Whitfield Valley Nature reserve in the city of Stoke-on-Trent. These photos were not taken with this comparison in mind – different lenses, focal lengths and positions – but, on reviewing the photos, I thought there might be an opportunity to create a comparison slider:

Although the spring image had to be cropped quite a lot to match, plus a bit of squeezing and stretching, I think I managed to get a reasonable match. My anchor points were 1) the small dark tree on the horizon a little way in from the left. 2) the white tree trunk in from the right. 3) trying to match the far shore line.

Not perfect but a reasonable match!
