My entry to the RHS Portfolio Competition has been rejected

I put an entry in to this year’s RHS portfolio competition. I had put forward 3 different types of entry into an Advisory day and, listening to the comments made by the advisors, I thought I had a chance of getting through to the shortlist on the grounds that this type of photograph (i.e. the panorama over a period of time) was something interesting and different. But it was not to be.

I do wonder if the type of photographs I produce are too radical, too different, to the current norms…

This is my Hanging Plan:

This is my ‘Statement of Intent’:

And here are the entries:

1 Norfolk farmscape autumn to spring
2 Norfolk farmscape spring to summer
3 Norfolk farmscape summer to harvest
4 Staffordshire farmscape autumn to winter
5 Staffordshire farmscape winter to summer
6 Staffordshire farmscape summer to harvest

Constructive comments would be appreciated.
